The University of the Incarnate Word (San Antonio, TX) Joins Tuition Rewards
 

March 18, 2008 - We are pleased to welcome The University of the Incarnate Word to the Tuition Rewards program. UIW is a leader in international studies. UIW's 5,217 students can leave its 110-acre San Antonio campus to study abroad in any of nearly 100 "sister schools" in 34 countries, spending a semester or longer in countries such as China, Taiwan, Japan, Mexico, Turkey, Chile, Australia, Peru, Italy, New Zealand, Brazil, England, France and Thailand. In 2000, UIW became the first American institution to grant degrees of higher learning in China, through the China Incarnate Word Foreign Education Center in Guangzhou. UIW was the first college to offer degrees are accredited both in the U.S. and Mexico, utilizing Centro Internacional Universitario Miguel Angel-Incarnate Word in Mexico City. At UIW, "The Universe Is Yours™."

Founded in 1881 by the Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word, UIW provides its students with 40 majors, including nuclear medicine, fashion management and music therapy. UIW's average class size is 25. The school went co-ed in 1970 and was recognized as a university in 1996. UIW is a Charter Member of the Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities; it qualifies as a Hispanic-serving institution (HSI) under federal guidelines. The waters of the San Antonio River flow through the campus.

Franklin College (Franklin, IN) Joins Tuition Rewards
 

March 17, 2008 - We are pleased to welcome Franklin College to the Tuition Rewards program. A residential four-year undergraduate liberal arts institution 20 minutes from downtown Indianapolis, Franklin College sits on 156 acres of land -- 86 acres of campus and 70 acres of athletic fields. Students enjoy easy access to the resources offered by a large city -- and the charm and small-town atmosphere of Franklin (population 20,000).

Founded in 1834, Franklin College offers 50 academic majors and 37 minors to its 1,014 undergraduate students. The school maintains an average class size of 15, and a 50-50 ratio of male to female students. The college was the first institution of higher education in Indiana to admit women. Approximately 97% of students receive some type of financial assistance.

The Franklin Grizzly Bears participate in NCAA Division III athletics as a charter member of the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference. The school maintains a voluntary association with the American Baptist Churches USA. Its website is: www.franklincollege.edu
