Now more than ever it is important for private colleges and universities to be concerned with their financial health and well being. The function of financial aid has evolved; scholarships, student loans and college savings all need to be factored into the financial aid process in order to keep tuition money flowing into a college.
SAGE's Tuition Rewards Program is a unique enrollment marketing tool. This program allows participating schools to identify students that come from families with assets and have begun to actively plan for higher education, and more specifically private higher education.
Tuition Rewards are scholarships that member schools offer from their own institutional resources and represent the minimum scholarship that a participating student will receive. Member schools, at their own discretion, are free to either "stack" or "blend" Tuition Rewards with any other non-needs based scholarships, provided that a student receives a scholarship that is at least equal to the size of his or her Tuition Rewards (not to exceed one year's tuition).
The Tuition Rewards Program offers member schools:
- Student Search - Participating schools have unlimited, free access to SAGE's database of participating students in grades 9 - 12. Member schools also receive free access to MyFourYears.com, including in depth student information, direct communication to member students, and the ability to post custom content about your school to all member students.
- Marketing - SAGE uniquely markets its member schools to families through intermediaries, including financial vehicles and their distributors, employers, associations, unions and non-profit organizations.
- Do the Right Thing - Schools that work with SAGE realize that in order to remain affordable, families need to be encouraged to save and plan for the cost of an education; being part of the Tuition Rewards Program one way they do this.

SAGE's college search website helps students find colleges and universities that fit their values and their specific needs. By being a collegiate partner of SAGE, schools get access to the Myfouryears.com database of students. This database allows schools to find out what students are looking for in a college, in terms of campus location and setting, extracurricular activities, curriculum, and more!
Myfouryears.com helps to create a dialog between students and colleges. Through the "Who's Interested in Me" portion of Myfouryears.com, a college can see which students did a search that included their college in the results. Conversely, students can see what colleges search results included them. Think of Myfouryears.com as a "matchmaker" website for colleges and students!

| What are Tuition Rewards? |
|
SAGE Tuition Rewards is a unique private college savings program. Tuition Rewards Points are like frequent flyer miles - but for college tuition!
Tuition Rewards are discounts off tuition at participating colleges and universities that represent the minimum scholarship that an eligible student will receive if and when he/she attends a member institution. Schools count Tuition Rewards as part of their normal institutional and merit scholarships. For example, if a student has 10,000 Tuition Rewards Points, then he or she is guaranteed to receive a minimum scholarship of $2,500 over four years at a SAGE member school.

| Earning Tuition Rewards Points |
|
Your Tuition Reward is typically calculated semi-annually and equals 2.5% of the value of your assets listed in the Tuition Rewards (5% annually). As your assets appreciate, so do your Tuition Rewards Points!
Here's an example: if you invest $10,000 with one of SAGE's Financial Partners, and assuming the asset does not increase or decrease in value, then you will earn 500 Tuition Rewards Points annually. If you hold this investment for five years, then you will accumulate 2,500 Tuition Rewards Points. The more you invest with our Financial Partners, and the longer that your are a SAGE member, the more Tuition Rewards Points you'll earn!
